Quick sandwiches

One of the things I don’t understand too much about Brazil is the lack of sandwiches here. Starbucks doesnt’t sell all the different types of paninis you can find in the ones in the UK, Canada and other countries, whilst you can hardly find many shops (aside from Subway, but I don’t count that!) that sell freshly made sandwiches with a good range of different mixtures. This is something I do miss from back in England.

But a solution for this can always be found at home and we end up making a decent variety of different sandwiches. One last night for example was roast beef, dried tomatoe, lettuce and spanish garlic with a bit of olive oil, salt and mustard, in toasted brown bread. Nice and easy, and quite tasty..! (Oh and coupled with a maracujá and peach juice… not bad!)

Hopefully our nitritionist will be pleased with us..!
